Whether you're a beginner. Old or younger. Imagine what it must have been like to have been there and listened to this on that night. So here he is, the composer himself showing how he preferred the piece to be played. But here in the UK, the sound of bird song is announcing that those days are upon it. So here's another piece which turned out to be the composer's most famous on hearing the first cuckoo in spring. And it's also a short piece which has taken a widely varying temperature. I definitely prefer a more measured approach. The number three is generally accepted as the first to give equal prominence to both end up. The last movement opens with an almost meditative and supremely touching a dash here before the cello announces the start of an exuberant dash at the end. Sharing the workload equally of a poor tortelier on the cello and every hijack on the piano.
